About Us: Collections The Gustave L. and Janet W. Levy Library The collections of the Levy Library support the educational, research and patient care activities of the faculty, students and staff of the Mount Sinai Medical Center. The Library's extensive online collection includes over 5,000 biomedical periodical titles; thousands of electronic books, including over 1000 core health sciences textbooks; and more than 170 electronic databases. The Levy Library's print and audiovisual materials complement the electronic collection. The print collection totals over 30,000 textbooks and monographs and more than 450 current journal subscriptions in the fields of biomedicine and health sciences. The Library also houses audiovisual materials, including slides and video and audio cassettes. Questions about Library resources can be directed to Ask
a Librarian. Members of the Mount Sinai Community are also welcome
to suggest
new titles for the Library's collection. The Mount Sinai Archives The Mount Sinai Archives collects documents and artifacts relating to The Mount Sinai Hospital, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and The Mount Sinai Medical Center. It also holds a large collection of material about The Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing (1881-1971).
